What you need:
• 1 - 2.5” Foam Ball
• 2 Foam Sheets - pink, white
• 3 Pom Poms, white - 2 medium, 1 small
• 2 Jiggly Eyes
• Chenille Stem, pink
• Scissors • Pencil
• Elmer’s Tacky Glue, Elmer’s Glue All or Glue Gun (Adult supervision required when using a glue gun) Tip: Pencil isn’t easily erased from foam sheets so draw all your shapes onto paper first. When you have the shapes you like, cut them out of the paper, trace the shape onto the foam sheet and cut out.
Body 1. Getting an adult to help, cut a foam ball in half either using a X-ACTO knife or a kitchen knife. Paint the one half with Shimmer Shine and let dry.
Rabbit Ears 2. Using the pink foam sheet, cut out 2 rabbit ears. Add Shimmer Shine to make them sparkle and let dry.
3. To insert the ears into the foam ball, cut 2 pieces of chenille stem ½ the length of the ear. Only glue ½ of the chenille onto the ear and leave the other ½ hanging off for inserting into the foam. Once dry, insert the ears into the foam ball. Bend into place. Nose and Mouth 4. Take the 2 medium pom poms and glue them together for the nose. Set aside to dry. 5. Cut out the rabbit teeth from the white foam sheet and glue to the back of the pom poms. Once dry, glue to the foam ball. 6. Glue 2 jiggly eyes above the nose and let dry. Pom Pom Tail 7. Using the small white pom pom, glue it onto the back of the foam ball and let dry.
